IELTS Writing Task 1 — Frozen Chip Pies (Diagram)

The process of fish pie production can be divided into three major stages, meanwhile the second step might be subdivided into two more sub-steps. The first one is delivering and preparing potatoes and fresh salmon. Stage two is connected with manual cooking, including putting in secondary ingredients. The last step is packaging, freezing and implementation₁ of the product.

During the first stage potatoes, after being delivered to the factory, are cleaned, peeled and then sliced into small sticks. Simultaneously, the fish is sprinkled with lemon juice and salt.

Ready-to-use ingredients are placed into the boiling water and the oven respectively. Afterwards, fish is removed to the manual processing line, where that ingredient is cleaned from skins and bones, after that inspected by the controllers. Then fresh salmon is flavoured with peas and prepared sauce.

The final stage is assembling the dish and getting the meal prepared for the storage. At this phase of the process, the packaging and freezing takes place. The production is ended with sending for storage and further marketing. (172 words)

1. Тут не совсем то существительное, что нам нужно, хотя подходящее слово будет непросто найти. Вот примерные варианты: introduction (of the product to the market); retailing; delivering (the product) to the shelves.
   Прежде всего хочется отметить хорошую работу с лексикой — все глаголы с описанием процесса подобраны оптимально. Тут стоит сделать поправку, что если возможна синонимизация слова из задания, то её стоить сделать. Вот пара примеров с синонимами в скобках: to inspect (to do/carry out quality control), to skin (to remove the scales), sliced (chopped — хоть и не совсем точный, но синоним).
